  • We offer packing, crating, transportation, installation, deinstallation, and on-site support for artworks. Our services are rooted in museum standards and cultural stewardship.

Who do you work with?

  • We collaborate with artists, galleries, museums, collectors, and institutions—especially those dedicated to Black American art, history, and cultural preservation.

What types of artwork do you handle?

  • We handle a wide range of artwork including paintings, sculpture, works on paper, textiles, multimedia pieces, and delicate historical objects.

Do you provide insurance coverage?

  • While we do not provide in-house insurance, we coordinate with clients’ insurers and offer documentation, condition reports, and support to ensure proper coverage throughout the handling process.

Where do you operate?

  • We’re based in the Northeastern U.S., serving Baltimore, Washington D.C., New York City, and surrounding regions—and are available for select projects beyond.

How is pricing determined?

  • Pricing is contract-based and varies by project. Quotes are tailored based on the object type, location, materials, labor, and logistical needs.

Is this a new business?

  • Yes, In Her Hands is a newly established, Black woman-led art handling business informed by deep expertise in art history, cultural heritage, and preservation practices.
